My name is Lisa Estabrook. I am a Wayshower and Plant Whisperer.

Over a decade ago I set off on a journey of self discovery with the guiding (and ambitious) intention to not only heal my physical pain—my chronic headaches—but also to heal the deep sense of isolation and loneliness I felt in my life along with its accompanying stories of victimhood and self-pity.

I didn’t consciously know that I was at war within myself but my body was screaming that something was desperately out of alignment. The one and only thing I knew for sure was that out in Nature, in my garden, I could clearly feel the deep sense of peace, solace and joy that I was seeking to bring into all aspects of my life.

We cannot create peace in the world outside of us if we don’t feel the peace within us.

From the beginning Soulflower has been an idea, a wish really, that has come straight from my heart— to know myself, be myself and to trust my own inner guidance to help me find my way in this lifetime.

One of my greatest gifts is to see the beauty and magic and love in the world around me.

My work is to see the beauty and magic and love in myself. To nurture self-compassion, and allow that creative energy to ripple out into the world, inspiring others to do the same… like Dandelion wishes on a breeze.

It is my greatest joy to share my journey—through my art, my words and my deep connection to the Earth—and be an open channel for the healing power of the plant spirits that flow through my heart and hands.

I have come to understand that my incredible, intelligent Earth body is not my enemy but my guide, a microcosm of the macrocosm, and that the practice of listening and being in right relationship with myself, with others and the more-than-human world is just that… a practice.

To me, land whispering and Tending the Garden of My Soul is not only a practice of cultivating relationship with the Earth and the land we steward, but also an exquisite act of self-love and compassion. Land whispering helps us remember, restore and embody the truth of our inherent divinity and connection with all of life. There is no separation between the health and wellbeing of the outer and inner landscape.

As we tend the garden, we are also tending ourselves. I am the Earth, and the Earth is me.

Happiness is a constant work in progress. It is a state of being, a choice, not an end reward. There is no finish line. And I know deeply that this is the gift of life itself. To discover over and over that the source of true happiness, true love and true peace comes from within.

With that in mind, everything I create and offer carries with it the humble, heartfelt intention to support the cultivation of bio-individual, life-honoring relationships with self and the more-than-human world. To restore harmony with the seasons of the Earth and the rhythms of the Moon that speak to our hearts and souls in every moment.

Thank you for witnessing me. It would give me great pleasure to share in the journey with you.

Sharing our gifts is not necessarily an outward or physical offering but more of a state of being we emanate when we align with and are fully present in our own heart’s truth.
